DCC FITTING SERVICE FOR YOUR LOCOS

In conjunction with Serendipity models we also offer a DCC Fitting service for your own locomotives, turnaround time is usually 3-5 days depending on the time of year.

Any locos sent to us will be tested first to ensure suitability for DCC conversion, if the loco is old or a bad runner we would discourage fitting a decoder to the loco as it will not improve performance.

Our charges are listed below for OO Gauge locos:

DCC Ready loco: £15 (Decoder supplied and fitted)

Non DCC Ready chassis: £20 (Decoder supplied and fitted)

Split chassis: £25 (Decoder supplied and fitted)

Usually old Bachmann/Mainline & Replica models

N Gauge Locos: £25 (Decoder supplied and fitted)

South West Digital Sound decoder: £120 (Decoder supplied and fitted)

Howes Sound decoder: £130 (Decoder supplied and fitted)

Customer supplying own sound decoder: £20 (Decoder fitted) 

Base Reflex Speaker Upgrade: £10 (Supplied and fitted)

We can also supply and fit lighting kits for most models, please contact us for further details.

Postage charged at £4.50 which is a fully insured and trackable service.
