We have two Hornby track mats to choose from, both of which are the standard 6ft x 4ft layouts.

The trackmats are essentially a large photograph of the proposed layout prnted onto eithe plastic or a hard paper and allows you to place the track pieces on the mat and it has the scenery and buildings already printed onto the mat.

The first trackmat is the Midi trackmat and is made of a durable plastic which is ideal for lying on the floor and is easy to fold away once you have finished with it. All that is required to complete this layout is a basic oval plus the track packs A,B,C & D.

This gives a large double oval with a level crossing and a large siding.

The second option is the R9086 trackmat which is made from a hard paper and is ideal for placing on a baseboard for a permanent layout, this is essentially a larger version of the midi trackmat and also incorporates the basic oval of track plus the trackpacks A,B,C & D though also requires Track packs E & F to complete the layout.
